Overview

Are you a passionate and adaptable secondary school teacher looking to make a meaningful impact? Do you thrive on variety and enjoy supporting young learners across different settings?

Affinity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting Secondary Supply Teacher to work across a range of schools within the Cabot Learning Federation. This is a fantastic opportunity to start immediately and work flexibly throughout the academic year with potential for long-term placement or contract progression.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans: Follow the absent teachers plans to ensure students stay on track with the curriculum.
  • Support students' academic progress and well-being.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Record attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
  • Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work to the best of their ability.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments: Familiarise yourself with school policies, routines, and expectations – often with little notice.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience working with young people in educational settings
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply (support provided)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Two years of reference history (professional, academic, or character)
