Job summary

Hillarys is seeking a Supply Planner to own planning across the UK, balancing demand, stock levels and customer service. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product availability and efficient inventory.

The role covers new product launches, promotions and end-of-life planning, with opportunities to improve planning processes through data-driven decisions and digitalisation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience within Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning or a similar supply chain role.
• Previous experience working within the UK market.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP system, SAP knowledge advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of inventory management, forecasting and supply planning principles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply in line with demand to achieve service level targets.
• Ensure availability of finished goods, raw materials and packaging to support production and customer demand.
• Forecast future requirements for new product ranges, promotions and changes in demand.
• Replenish and manage stock within agreed inventory targets and budgets.
• Monitor stock availability and proactively identify shortages or supply issues.
• Communicate stock shortages and updates with Customer Service and stakeholders.
• Maintain planning parameters and SAP master data.
• Ensure SAP reflects stock positions, goods in transit and orders.
• Work with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Finance for planning insights.
• Monitor and report on KPIs like OTIF, stock availability and lead-time adherence.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support new product introductions and end-of-life planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning through automation, digitalisation and data-driven decisions.
• Support continuous improvement across Planning and Supply Chain.
