Job summary

Schneider Electric UK is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner to balance inventory, forecast demand, and coordinate end‑to‑end activities across the production line. You will partner with manufacturing and engineering to ensure on‑time delivery and optimal service levels, while leveraging MRP to link flows and drive process improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions in a dynamic UK manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Inventory planning and forecasting to meet service demand.
• Material tracking and management across the supply chain.
• End-to-end control tower monitoring for seamless product flow.
• Demand planning to align supply with customer needs.
• Cross-functional SIOP coordination to balance supply and demand.
• Maintaining optimal stock to support service delivery.
• Collaborating with teams to address issues and improve communication.
• Influencing stakeholders to drive alignment and action.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, change and own the production plan for a factory line.
• Adhere to milestones in product lifecycle and own healthy production start.
• Manage customer expectations and production capabilities.
• Regularly monitor line performance and report issues to management.
• Coordinate line issues linked to production control (shortages, priorities, escalations, improvements).
• Work with other business areas to achieve on-time delivery and high service levels.
• Use MRP to link upstream and downstream flows.
• Drive changes and improvements to current processes.
