Join us as a Supplier Manager at Barclays. Your role will involve managing and monitoring supplier risk and performance to meet the requirements of the Barclays Third Party Service Provider Policy and Standards, through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.

To be successful as a Supplier Manager, you should have experience with:

• Fluent in Italian, French, or Spanish (native desirable).
• Third-party supplier management.
• Stakeholder management.

Purpose of the role

Manage and monitor supplier risk and performance to meet Barclays' standards, through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.

Accountabilities

1. Manage and execute supplier control processes, oversee supplier performance, and monitor KPIs to meet expectations.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to produce deliverables that meet procurement needs, policies, standards, and mitigate supplier risks and issues.
3. Identify suitable suppliers through market research, capability analysis, and contract negotiation.
4. Stay updated on industry trends related to supplier management by attending conferences and training.
5. Monitor suppliers’ control operations to ensure compliance with standards and contractual obligations.
6. Collaborate with regulatory teams to support global regulatory requests and ongoing activities.
