About the Food Safety Auditor role

• Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the Food Safety Auditor conducts audits of client food manufacturing, distribution, and packaging facilities.
• You will provide technical training to management and staff regarding food safety programs, pest management, operational methods, personnel practices, and hygiene cleaning practices.
• You will communicate with management teams about compliance levels and prepare written reports detailing issues, observations, and corrective actions.

Skills & experience required

• You should be proactive, focused, and ideally hold a degree in food science or related discipline, with a strong track record in food safety or auditing. You must be able to organize travel, work independently, and file reports.
• Knowledge of retailer and third-party standards (e.g., BRC) is essential. Industry-recognized auditing qualifications like Lead Auditor are advantageous.
• You must be able to travel extensively within Belgium, France, and the Netherlands, and hold a valid driving license.
• Fluency in English and French is required; Dutch language skills are a plus.

The role (ref: 8898) is home-based within the UK, Belgium, Northern France, or the Benelux region, requiring extensive travel, with a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per year depending on experience.
