Regional Account Manager: Turbine / Industrial Controls Sales

AP4 Group is seeking a Full Time Regional Account Manager, Northern Europe and UK
AP4 Group LLC is a global full-service provider of heavy-duty & aeroderivative industrial gas turbine maintenance, including spare parts distribution, component repairs, and field services. Our team of 170 dedicated employees is on a mission to provide our customers with the parts and services they need, when they need them. What are your responsibilities?

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for generating new business, retaining existing clients, and fostering growth through the expansion of products and services in Northern Europe and the UK. This position is remote but requires 60% travel. This is a contract position.

What will you do?
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to acquire new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to meet customers’ needs and explore new opportunities.
  • Own the accurate forecasting of your account base.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies and account planning.
  • Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of budget attainment. Identify customer needs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Drive identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for key areas of competitive advantage.
  • Provide feedback regarding pricing and competition of product line offering.
  • Manage travel and living expense budget.
  • Perform quarterly business reviews with key account decision makers and AP4 Service Managers.
  • Maintain regional pipeline to achieve short-term and long-term goals/objectives.
  • Timely maintain CRM to provide accurate intel.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and compliant sales process.
  • Attend meetings, sales events, and training to stay updated on latest developments.
  • Coordinate with business units' Service Managers to define solutions.
  • Ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
What do you need to qualify for this role?
  • Must reside in Northern Europe or the UK.
  • Sales experience in the UK and Continental Europe required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of direct consultative selling experience.
  • Gas Turbine knowledge/controls systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in German, French, and English (speaking and writing).
  • Experience handling transactional and contractual relationships.
  • Background in engineering or technical education preferred.
  • Experience with electrical control products is advantageous.
  • Proven B2B sales experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, with a track record in industrial end-user sales.
