Job summary

Howden Group is seeking a Claims Broker for Superyachts to manage complex yacht-related claims globally. You will advocate for clients, negotiate settlements with insurers and industry professionals, and support owners through the full claims lifecycle while collaborating with teams in Southampton, London and beyond.

The role requires experience in marine or yacht claims, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to improving client outcomes in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling marine, yacht or complex liability claims.
• Experience negotiating claims with insurers and market participants.
• Strong advocacy to achieve positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Handle and negotiate a broad range of yacht claims (Hull & Machinery, P&I, Crew Welfare).
• Advocate on behalf of clients to achieve fair and timely outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers, lawyers, surveyors and other stakeholders.
• Support yacht owners and reps throughout the claims lifecycle with market insight.
• Collaborate with Southampton, London and international teams and maintain claims records.
