Veolia Group is seeking a Supervisor - Grounds Maintenance to lead grounds operations at Moat Lane, Solihull. You will supervise staff, plan maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Represent the company at local authority and resident meetings.
• Deliver employee inductions and maintain training records.
• Oversee and maintain vehicle and equipment compliance.
• Help manage transfer station and depot compliance.
• Conduct crew inspections and monitor contract work.

Job description

Supervisor - Grounds Maintenance

Location: Moat Lane, Solihull, B91 2LW

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week

Standard shift: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:00 (including 30 minute unpaid break)

Salary: £34,219.05 per annum, plus Veolia benefits

What we're looking for;

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with grounds maintenance equipment and machinery
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of environmental legislation
• Experience in disciplinary investigations and absence monitoring
• Computer literacy

Desirable:

• Experience in grounds maintenance contracts.
• Horticultural qualification or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
• PA1 & PA6 Certification
• IOSH managing safety certification
• Accident investigation experience (advantageous)
