Job summary

Veolia is recruiting a driver to support one of the UK’s leading resource and environmental services providers. The role is based in Stoke, with an average of 48 hours per week and a 4am start.

A Class 2 (Cat C) license and up-to-date CPC Digi/Tachograph Card are essential, with desirable experience in waste management and related vehicle types. Salary is £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits, including a daily meal allowance and pension access.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) license.
• CPC Digi / Tachograph Card up to date.
• Desirable: waste management experience.
• Desirable: RORO and Skip experience.
• Desirable: Mobile compaction, RCV/FEL experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads.
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
