Job summary

RAC is looking for a Superflex Roadside Patrol in the UK to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and breakdown support. You’ll work across days, evenings, weekends and peak periods, with shifts driven by member demand and rosters set in advance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members on their journeys.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Adapt to a varied shift pattern including evenings, weekends and peak demand periods.
• Use modern diagnostic technology to identify faults and support skill development toward IMI accreditation.
