Job summary

Join RAC as a Superflex Roadside Patrol and use your expertise when our members need it most. You’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics across the UK, providing emergency breakdown support with quick, confident solutions.

You’ll work independently on shifts spanning days, evenings, weekends and peak periods, with a development pathway to IMI accreditation and opportunities to grow your skills and career.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide emergency breakdown support with quick, confident solutions.
• Diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Work independently on a shift pattern including evenings, weekends and peak periods.
• Benefit from a structured development pathway with IMI accreditation.
