Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Mechanic in the Esher cluster. You will diagnose and repair vehicles on roadside, often working within local areas to get members back on the road quickly.

You’ll operate with a flexible schedule, managing your own kit and van to stay prepared for diverse calls. The role offers a competitive base salary (£55,869, potentially up to £61,000) with overtime and bonuses, along with a long-standing heritage of over 128 years and a strong support structure for

Qualifications

• Either: NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• and A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles on roadside as part of the RAC team
• You’ll manage your own kit and van, keeping it stocked and ready for calls
• You’ll read situations quickly to determine the right fix and keep members moving
