Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join the Esher cluster, covering areas such as Esher, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, and surrounding locales. You will work flexibly, with shifts between early morning and night, and a focus on getting members back on the road in your local area.

You’ll receive a competitive package with a base salary of £55,869 per year (London Weighting where applicable) and potential earnings up to £61,000, plus development opportunities, tools, and support

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside assistance and repairs to get members back on the road
• Diagnose faults and perform vehicle diagnostics
• Manage and maintain your toolkit, van stock, and reports with precision
