Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Superflex Roadside Mechanic in the Esher cluster, serving Esher, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Epsom and surrounding towns. You’ll work about 40 hours a week with a roster issued in advance and core hours confirmed shortly before your shifts.

Shifts run 06:00–02:00, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The role offers a base salary of £55,869 (London Weighting where applicable) with up to £61,000 including bonuses and overtime, plus a van, fuel

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs to get members back on the road.
• Manage kit and van stock; complete reports accurately.
• Provide high‑quality customer service in dynamic environments.
