Job summary

Alpadia is seeking a Camp Manager for its UK summer programme in Ardingly to lead staff, safeguard students and oversee the language and activities programme. You will manage welfare, safety, administration and communications with schools and parents.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills and experience with youth programmes. An rewarding seasonal position with development opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing or coordinating summer camps, youth programmes, or similar environments.
• Experience leading teams and supervising staff in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Demonstrated experience in safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff to deliver high-quality camp programmes.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are understood and followed.
• Support academic and language programmes with teachers and senior staff.
• Oversee activities, welfare, safety, and incident response.
• Maintain effective communication with host school, parents, and partners.
• Manage camp administration, operations, and budgets.
• Coordinate transfers and travel logistics for students.
