Job summary

Omexom Uk is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on electrical substation projects, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards. You will manage construction, maintenance, wiring and associated works across 11–400 kV assets, with direct reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will require at least five years’ site leadership experience, a robust H&S background, and completion of the Omexom Supervisor’s course. Strong collaboration with project teams is essential.”

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience on DNO substation/OHL sites (11–400kV)
• Omexom Supervisor’s course required
• Strong H&S knowledge and risk assessment experience
• Ability to plan works efficiently and motivate staff
• Proven site management track record

Responsibilities

• Lead site management of projects and ensure daily delivery of works
• Manage construction, maintenance, fitting and wiring of substation plant/equipment
• Plan site activities to maintain safety, cost and quality
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, RAMS and lift plans
• Mentor staff and develop nominated personnel
• Collaborate with Project Manager to support project delivery
• Prepare and review site paperwork, including ITPs and risk assessments
