The Substance Misuse Nurse role is varied; the successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team offering specialist clinical support to individuals using our services, helping them live fulfilling lives. Each person who enters our service is treated as an individual, so it is important that the candidate is respectful, attentive, and ready to listen.

This role includes, but is not limited to:

• Understanding physical and mental health assessments
• Providing tailored services for individuals with complex needs
• Delivering clinical interventions to support recovery
• Raising awareness of risks associated with drugs and alcohol
• Participating in opiate and alcohol intervention programs
• Leading harm reduction initiatives

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months (on the update service? You could be fast-tracked through our recruitment process)
• Relevant degree
• Experience in a similar role within the substance misuse field
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (advantageous)
