Our primary service offers a peer-support network to young people across the UK, enabling them to access a peer mentor of a similar age with whom they feel more comfortable speaking.

About the role

The Software Tester is responsible for testing Youth4Youth's technological solutions. This involves communicating with team members, creating test plans and cases, running tests, analyzing results, and producing reports. The role supports a website and chat system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, acceptance, end-to-end, and regression tests to ensure software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with product design and development teams to develop comprehensive user experiences across mobile, web, and app platforms.
• Coordinate with the wider team to ensure test plans align with user requirements and charity objectives.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify areas for improvement and proactively enhance software functionality.
• Stay updated with technological innovations and new testing tools.
