Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments
• Develop and review individual recovery plans, explaining confidentiality and available treatments to patients
• Provide one-on-one advice and information to patients
• Support dispensing and attend to medical emergencies
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of public health needs

Requirements:

• Prison clearance is essential
• Understanding and commitment to recovery and a person-centred approach
• At least 1 year of experience in the substance misuse field
• Relevant degree
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (advantageous)
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months (on the update service preferred)
• Current and valid NMC registration
• Ability to deliver a range of services/treatments/interventions in a person-centred, non-judgemental manner
