Job summary

Exchange Street Claims & Financial Services is seeking an experienced Subsidence Engineer to manage a portfolio of subsidence claims affecting properties with landslips, sinkholes, and related interventions.

You will attend sites, assess damage, determine causation and policy liability, liaise with contractors, and prepare comprehensive ABI reports while supporting the contractor network. A strong customer focus and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior subsidence/Loss Adjusting experience preferable.
• MRICS/MCIOB/C.BuildE preferred but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organization.

Responsibilities

• Handle portfolio of subsidence claims on a project basis.
• Attend site to carry out technical assessments and investigations.
• Determine causation, defect diagnosis and policy liability.
• Decline claims where appropriate.
• Prepare ABI reports with findings and recommendations.
• Oversee repair schemes and liaise with contractors.
