Sedgwick UK is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of Subsidence Claims Consultants across a UK-wide footprint. You will ensure claims move from start to finish quickly, accurately and with high customer and client service standards.

You will manage performance, training needs, morale and attendance, while working with other leaders to maintain collaboration across the division. The role blends office and remote work to support work-life balance and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in an insurance, claims or loss adjusting environment is essential.
• Knowledge of subsidence claims and processes is advantageous.
• Proven people-management experience with a track record of delivering results.
• Ability to coach, develop and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Strong focus on performance, file quality and service levels per client requirements.
• Cert CILA (or equivalent) is valuable, or willingness to pursue it.
• Able to make decisive decisions and stay flexible during surges.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and empathy with clients, customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Subsidence Claims Consultants to move claims to conclusion quickly and accurately.
• Oversee day-to-day enquiries, monitor performance, and address training needs.
• Collaborate with the Subsidence leadership team to ensure cross-team communication.
• Balance office and remote working to support work-life balance while driving results.
