Job summary

Sedgwick invites applications for a Building Consultant - Expert Services, Subsidence to manage complex subsidence claims nationwide in the UK. You will diagnose defects, coordinate mitigation and repairs, and ensure high standards of service while working with our Subsidence Services Division.

The role blends client care with technical assessment, requires travel across the UK, and offers extensive Sedgwick University training, a flexible hybrid working pattern, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel by car.
• Chartered building professional qualification MCIOB/MRICS/MICE.
• Insurance claims handling experience.
• Expertise in identifying structural defects and subsidence.
• Ability to communicate with empathy and deliver customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from notification to conclusion.
• Diagnose subsidence issues, coordinate mitigation and repairs.
• Communicate with team members and service providers.
• Deliver excellent customer service and decisions.
• Contribute to Sedgwick University training and development.
