Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Subsidence Loss Adjuster to handle a diverse portfolio of subsidence claims, from investigation through to settlement. You will liaise with clients, engineers and surveyors to assess policy cover and quantum, and negotiate settlements while maintaining high standards of communication.

The role requires experience in subsidence and cradle-to-grave claims handling, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of investigating and handling subsidence claims is essential.
• Cradle to grave claims handling.
• Clear understanding of subsidence, construction, mitigation and liability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to liaise with clients and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, manage and report on a caseload of property claims (subsidence).
• Handle cradle-to-grave subsidence claims from initial report to settlement.
• Liaise with clients, policyholders, structural engineers and surveyors.
• Determine policy cover, scope, and quantum assessments; negotiate settlements.
• Participate in claims auditing and attend meetings; travel as required.
