Job summary

Trinity Claims is seeking a Subsidence Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of household subsidence and ground movement claims from first notification through to settlement. You will balance technical accuracy with customer care while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost control.

Working with engineers, surveyors and suppliers, you will interpret technical reports, determine liability, and deliver appropriate claim outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience handling household insurance claims, specifically subsidence/ground movement
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to review and interpret technical reports and supporting evidence
• Experience managing an end-to-end claim portfolio and negotiating settlements

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end portfolio of subsidence and ground movement claims from notification to settlement
• Assess policy coverage, validate evidence and determine liability and entitlement
• Review geological, drainage and arboricultural reports to determine cause and outcome
• Instruct and manage engineers, surveyors and contractors; ensure value for money and policy compliance
• Maintain claim reserves, authorise payments and handle complaints while keeping customers informed
