Job summary

An experienced Subsidence Team Leader is sought by a leading loss adjusting business to join its specialist Subsidence team in Glasgow. You will lead, develop and support colleagues while managing your own portfolio of subsidence claims, combining people leadership with technical claims handling.

This role involves coaching, mentoring, driving performance, and identifying training opportunities, plus deputising when required and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in claims handling.
• Strong knowledge of subsidence claims or complex claims.
• Leadership, coaching or mentoring experience is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Good organisation and workload management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on customer service and positive claims outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in leading, developing and supporting colleagues while also managing your own portfolio of subsidence claims, giving you the opportunity to combine people leadership with technical claims handling.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience within claims handling
• Good knowledge of subsidence claims or experience managing complex claims
• Previous leadership, coaching or mentoring experience would be beneficial
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Confidence supporting and developing others
• Good organisation and workload management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A strong focus on customer service and positive claims outcomes
