Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience handling home insurance claims.
• In-depth understanding of Escape of Water incidents in household insurance.
• Solid knowledge of policy wording to determine liability and coverage.
• Ability to interpret technical reports, estimates and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Advise policyholders on claims issues and manage full lifecycle claims.
• Respond to portal messages within agreed SLAs.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and surveyors to progress claims.
• Check coverage, gather documentation and ensure accurate processing.
• Monitor reserves and authorize settlements.
• Review surveyor reports and contractor estimates for accuracy.
• Conduct basic fraud checks and escalate as needed.
• Maintain records and ensure health, safety and sustainability considerations.
