Babcock International in Bristol offers a 5-year Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Degree Apprenticeship that blends hands-on work with university study toward a BEng (Hons) in Electronics or Electrical & Electronic Engineering. You’ll contribute to electrical projects, learn from experienced engineers, and gain exposure to submarine systems.

The programme is Level 6, with two days at the Technology Centre and university study the rest of the week.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths at C/4 or higher.
• Three A Levels in Maths and two other STEM subjects.
• Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in electrical engineering.
• Some CAD drawing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist electrical design tasks and load charts.
• Produce drawings, calculations, specs and reports.
• Support feasibility studies and project deliveries.
• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers.
• Develop technical documentation using CAD tools.
