Job summary

BMDIs UK, part of the BMD Group, is seeking a Sub Agent to join our UK team on a permanent basis. The role involves site inspections, developing project plans and reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting construction delivery across projects in the UK such as roads and bridges.

Candidates must travel and stay away through the week. CSCS/SMSTS/IOSH and BIM/Digital tools experience are desirable. We offer professional development and a flexible, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering
• IT skills including MS Office
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills

We require a Sub Agent to join our team on a permanent basis. We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Candidates that are interested in this role must be able to travel and stay away throughout the week.

Job Summary and role description

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering
• IT skills including MS Office
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills

Desirable
