Job summary

BMDIs UK, part of the BMD Group, is seeking a Sub Agent to join our UK team. The role involves site inspections, evaluating plans, and supporting construction delivery across projects such as roads, bridges, and water treatment facilities.

Travel and staying away throughout the week are required. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, with IT skills and strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree level/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience with training in Construction/Engineering.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office and communication capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and evaluations on projects across the UK.
• Develop project plans and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support construction delivery to achieve goals.

We require a Sub Agent to join our team on a permanent basis. We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Candidates that are interested in this role must be able to travel and stay away throughout the week.

Job Summary And Role Description

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved.

Essential

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering
• IT skills including MS Office
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills

Desirable

• CSCS
• SMSTS / IOSH
• BIM / Digital including Autodesk and /or Bentley
