Otherway is seeking an experienced Senior Resource Manager to own the resourcing function in a fast-paced design and branding studio. You’ll lead how projects move through the studio, working with department heads and account teams to resource effectively and sustainably.

You’ll be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, balancing big-picture planning with day-to-day capacity, flagging risks, and implementing robust processes and tooling to keep the studio running smoothly.

Formación

• 4–6+ years’ experience in a similar role within a creative/design agency or similar.
• Strong Project Management experience managing design projects in a similar business.
• A natural problem-solver who enjoys collaboration and lateral thinking.
• Self-starter, comfortable working autonomously.
• Highly organised and used to working in high-paced environments.
• Strong commercial understanding of project finances.
• Adept in studio resource management and scheduling.
• Comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Calm under pressure with a sharp attention to detail.
• Proficient with resource planning tools.
• Inquisitive about how we can harness technology to improve processes.
• Confident working across project types — from brand to campaigns and digital.
• Comfortable leading meetings and rolling up your sleeves.

Responsabilidades

• Form a detailed understanding of the skills and capabilities of permanent members of the team
• Own the weekly and longer-term resource plan across all live and upcoming projects
• Lead weekly workflow meetings with account leads and department heads and allocate resource based on agreed scopes of work and available personnel
• Confidently challenge account and department leads when resource requests are in conflict
• Manage day-to-day scheduling across departments
• Maintain a clear view of capacity, flagging overbooking and underutilisation. Work with account and department leads to propose and agree solutions.
• Critically assess requests for Freelance. Once approved, source, book and onboard freelance talent.
• Review all scopes of work before they are shared with clients, to ensure proposals align with available resources, and highlight any potential issues.
• Manage internal resource and freelance budgets against agreed project scopes
• Track team utilisation and help build longer-term capacity planning. Work with Finance and People teams to ensure team structure reflects ongoing needs of the business.
• Implement and optimise resource management tools and workflows, including developing reporting to allow timely view of actual time, plus resource allocated vs budgeted fee.
• Work with finance and account team to track and reconcile freelance/contractor costs
