Job summary

NxGen, Sky Creative’s AI-first hybrid studio, seeks a Resource Manager to coordinate talent across production, artists, resource planning and studio operations. You’ll maintain project visibility, support staffing strategies and onboard in-house and freelance talent, ensuring access to tools, licences, cloud infra and storage.

Working with the Executive Producer and teams, you’ll optimise staffing, track capacity and resolve blockers, helping the studio move fast and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in talent management, resource coordination, or production within VFX, animation, post-production, or a creative studio environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with production tracking tools (e.g., ShotGrid) and resource management systems.
• Established network of freelance talent across VFX, compositing, motion, and AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookings for external freelance artists and track availability in resource management systems.
• Build and maintain a diverse external talent pool across disciplines (VFX, compositing, AI workflows).
• Onboard freelance artists efficiently and maintain clear communication with freelancers, Production, and the EP.
• Act as a liaison between artists, production, resource management and technical teams, ensuring access to hardware, software, licences and cloud infrastructure.
• Coordinate operational requirements for cloud-based resources and help manage access, scaling and staffing needs.
