Job summary

Material Source Studio in Manchester is seeking a studio assistant to join its creative team. You will be the welcoming face for visitors, support partners, and help keep the studio presented to a high standard across reception, hospitality and meeting spaces.

This role requires a passionate, proactive individual with strong communication and organisational skills, comfort with busy surroundings, and the ability to multi task while learning new booking systems, calendars and CRM tasks.

Qualifications

• Background in the creative industry is desired.
• Experience in administrative or customer facing role is desired.
• Events experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for visitors, providing an excellent guest experience.
• Attain strong product knowledge and industry awareness.
• Build relationships with Studio partners and represent brands confidently and honestly.
• Support partners with POD updates, sample and stockroom management, literature restocks and display upkeep.
• Work with the team to ensure the studio is presented to a high standard, including housekeeping, hospitality and meeting space setup.
• Managing day-to-day studio administration, including the client booking system and Studio calendar.
• Help with Studio events, including CPDs, workshops, seminars, roundtables and visits.
• Some data entry and CRM tasks will be required.
• Assist with events.

We are seeking a creative, self motivated, friendly individual who thrives in a fast paced, client facing environment. a background in the creative industry is desired, along with a deep understanding of – and enthusiasm for – the design sector we serve. experience in an administrative or customer facing role is also desired, and a background in events is advantageous but not essential. if you want to make your mark and join a super creative team, we’re excited to meet you.

The role

Location: Manchester, UK

Start date : immediate

Salary: £26,500–£30,000 DOE + private healthcare scheme

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.45am to 17.00pm. candidate will be required to work some of our events and be available for mornings and evenings on a shift system.
