Job summary

Linslade School is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to join our pastoral team. Location: Linslade School. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week, term-time plus 5 training days) supports attendance, safeguarding and student well-being, with duties including one-to-one guidance and collaboration with parents and external agencies.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. Training will be provided. Closing date 12pm on 19 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to build strong relationships and coordinate support for children and families.
• Knowledge of relevant policies and the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support attendance and provide one-to-one guidance.
• Work with students, parents and external agencies to ensure well-being and development.
• Contribute to student inclusion, safeguarding and academic success.
