Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy is seeking a Wellbeing Officer to support 11-16 year olds and contribute to their academic, social, and emotional development within a Catholic ethos. This permanent full-time role involves 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a salary in the band £27,652 to £30,542 per annum.

You will work with Heads of Year and external agencies to triage and manage pupils in crisis, coordinate care plans, and maintain safeguarding records.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral support roles.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Ability to coordinate with external agencies and families.

Responsibilities

• Triage and support pupils.
• Work with Head of Year, senior leaders and external agencies.
• Coordinate care plans for pupils in crisis with medical needs.
• Develop positive relationships for personal development.
• Coordinate with families to address individual needs and social-emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with transitions at key educational stages.
• Maintain accurate safeguarding records and confidentiality.
