Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking a committed Wellbeing Officer (Pastoral Assistant) on a permanent full-time basis. You will support 11–16 year olds, triage needs, and work with staff and external agencies to promote wellbeing and personal development.

The post is 37 hours weekly, term-time only, with an actual salary of £27,652 to £30,542 per annum. Local government pension, CPD, EAP, and cycle-to-work perks are included.

• Develop positive and constructive relationships to enhance their personal development personal development.
• Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well-being.
• Assist with the smooth transition of student at key stages in their educational journey.
• Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding-related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
