Job summary

Upwell Academy, part of Eastern Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking a compassionate and proactive professional to support pupils, families and the school community. You will work closely with children, families, academy staff and external agencies to remove barriers to education and promote attendance, wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience within education, social services/welfare or voluntary sector.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils, families and academy staff to remove barriers to education.
• Promote positive attendance, wellbeing and student engagement.
• Work with external agencies to ensure appropriate support for vulnerable pupils.
• Build effective partnerships with families to strengthen home–school links.
