Job summary

Access Creative College Birmingham is seeking a dedicated learner services assistant to support day-to-day centre operations, learning delivery, and safeguarding. You will provide structured learning support for learners with identified needs, maintain records, and assist in preparing learner profiles.

You’ll work closely with the LSM and others, manage reception on a rota, help with estates and admin tasks, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment while following safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• Deliver focused learning interventions for students with identified support needs or at risk learners.
• Record all learner support, contacts, and pastoral care in student logs and records.
• Collaborate with lecturers and managers to prepare support plans and profiles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning interventions for learners with identified needs.
• Follow lesson plans and devise tailored support strategies.
• Record learner support and pastoral care in logs.
• Assist in preparing ALS learner profiles and support plans.
• Support exam arrangements and invigilate as needed.
• Manage reception and provide professional front-of-house service.
• Assist with estates, facilities, health & safety tasks, and general admin.
• Liaise with staff and departments for learner administration and data reporting.
• Provide careers support to learners as directed by leadership.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately with DSL guidance.
