Job summary

UHI Perth is seeking a part-time Support and Care Assistant on a fixed-term maternity cover to join our SVS team. You will support students with additional needs and assist with personal care, helping to improve their learning experience. PVG check is required and interviews will occur after the closing date.

The role is based in Perth, Scotland, with pro-rata annual salary of £31,164.47–£32,836.36, and a closing date of 17 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support students with additional support needs and/or learning disabilities.
• Assist with personal care as needed to support learning.
• Improve students' overall learning experience.
