Job summary

UHI Perth is seeking a part-time Support and Care Assistant on a fixed-term maternity cover to join our SVS team. You will support students with additional needs and assist with personal care, helping to improve their learning experience. PVG check is required and interviews will occur after the closing date.

The role is based in Perth, Scotland, with pro-rata annual salary of £31,164.47–£32,836.36, and a closing date of 17 September 2026.

We are looking to appoint a Support and Care Assistant to join our team on a fixed term basis for maternity cover. This role provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking individual to join our dedicated SVS team.

You will support our students with additional support needs and/or learning disabilities and assist with personal care, improving their overall learning experience.

You should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working with vulnerable people and have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and can liaise with others in a professional manner.
