Job summary

Biggin Hill Primary School is seeking an Achievement Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. The role focuses on supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to Individual Education/Behaviour Plans.

You will work 31 hours per week during term time, with a permanent contract and an actual salary of £19,211–£19,830 per annum. This is a part-time position based on school hours, within Horizon Academy Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Ability to promote high standards of behaviour and self-esteem.
• Provide feedback to pupils regarding progress in learning and wellbeing.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set challenging expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
• Promote good pupil behaviour and manage conflicts per school procedures.
• Support attainment and accelerate progress for individuals and groups.
• Contribute to development of Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes when needed.
• Provide feedback to teachers on pupils' attainment, progress and attitudes to learning.
• Liaise with safeguarding, SEND and wellbeing staff as required.
