Job summary

Biggin Hill Primary School is looking to appoint a caring, supportive and dedicated Achievement Support Assistant to work in our specialist Resource Provision to support pupils with communication and interaction needs/ASD.

The successful candidate will have extensive SEND experience, promote positive pupil behaviour, support academic, social and emotional development, assist with Education/Behaviour Plans, liaise with staff on safeguarding and wellbeing, and provide regular feedback to teachers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with SEND pupils.
• Promote good pupil behaviour and manage conflicts following school procedures.
• Support the academic, social, emotional and development of individuals and groups of pupils.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans.
• Liaise with staff regarding safeguarding, SEND needs and wellbeing issues.
• Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on attainment and progress.
