Lift Maltings is seeking a receptionist for student services to create a welcoming, organised space where students feel safe, listened to and looked after. You will be the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff, ensuring a warm welcome and assistance as needed.

You will support attendance, manage records, handle enquiries, and work with safeguarding colleagues to support students throughout the school day.

Formación

• Experience in customer-facing or administrative roles.
• Proficient with IT systems and confidential records.
• Responds calmly to welfare situations with care and professionalism.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a busy school.
• Willing to undertake first aid and medication training.

Responsabilidades

• Act as welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, carers, visitors and staff.
• Manage student sign-in/sign-out and keep attendance records accurate.
• Support student welfare and refer concerns promptly per safeguarding procedures.
• Provide first aid following training and maintain medical/incident records.
• Answer calls/emails professionally, coordinate appointments and meetings.
• Maintain an organised, safe and welcoming student services area.
