Job summary

Queen Alexandra Charity in Birmingham is seeking a Progress Coach to manage a caseload of learners, monitoring progress and coordinating with the Learner Journey Team. The role is permanent, full-time, 32.5 hours per week during 39 weeks of term time, onsite in Harborne.

Salary is around £21,053 per year. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, work with staff, parents and external partners, and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan reviews while ensuring safeguarding and

Qualifications

Level 2 numeracy and literacy demonstrated or assessed.
Qualification equivalent to Level 3 with willingness to progress to Level 4.
Understanding of Preparation for Adulthood Outcomes.
Direct experience with young people with SEND.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in education.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one support for up to 30 students and small groups to monitor progress.
Lead fortnightly progress meetings on education, independence, attendance and goals.
Collaborate with college staff, parents/carers and external agencies.
Prepare and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan reviews.
Input, track and report progress on the College MIS system.
Monitor attendance and coordinate planning of learner progress.
