Job summary

Bolton Sfc is seeking a motivated Progress Coach to join our dedicated pastoral team. This term-time role supports a cohort of sixth-form students through engaging group tutorials, targeted pastoral intervention and regular progress monitoring.

You will build trusting relationships, respond calmly to challenges and help students develop the confidence, independence and skills they need to succeed academically, personally and professionally.

Term time only | 36.25 hours per week | Salary: Starting at Scale Point 19: £36,564, with annual progression to Scale Point 23: £41,019 (pro rata) | Start date: As soon as possible | Closing Date: 27 September 2026 | Interview Date: 2 October 2026
