Job summary

Study Group in Brighton is seeking a Progression & Transition Coach to support student progression needs both face-to-face and online. You will deliver tutorials, provide 1:1 development and guidance, and create activities to build study skills and confidence for HE transition.

You will work with colleagues to embed digital learning, track attendance, intervene when needed, and report on student destinations. A strong focus on wellbeing and accurate records is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting students in educational contexts.
• Experience delivering workshops or similar.
• Experience collaborating with external partners to facilitate activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Academic Success tutorials and 1:1 personal development and progression counselling.
• Design learning materials on study skills, welfare topics and employability.
• Maintain the VLE and embed digital learning technologies into delivery.
• Track attendance and intervene per policy with timely reporting.
• Monitor performance and liaise with academic teams for interventions.
• Provide wellbeing support and liaise with the Wellbeing Team as needed.
• Manage student records accurately and support events and enrichment.
• Coordinate registration, inductions, and provide staff support during peak periods.
