Aureus School in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Student Inclusion Lead to support students facing barriers to learning and engagement. You will work with the SENDCo and Pastoral Team to provide timely, effective in-class support, group and 1:1 interventions, coordinating with external agencies as needed.

The role requires school-based SEND experience, resilience under pressure, and a commitment to fostering ambition, resilience and respectful behaviour among students.

Formación

• Experience of working in a similar SEND or inclusion role.
• Ability to liaise with external agencies (e.g. Educational Psychologists, SALT, CAMHS, Local Authority SEND teams, BIO).
• Strong commitment to supporting walkabout and refocus routines, modelling calm, consistent behaviour.

Responsabilidades

• Support students to overcome barriers to learning, attendance and engagement.
• Collaborate with SENDCo and Pastoral Team to deliver high-quality in-class support, small-group and 1:1 interventions.
• Liaise with external agencies to coordinate assessments, advice and provision.
• Contribute to costed provision maps and strategic SEND planning.
• Model calm, consistent behaviour to support routines and expectations.
