Job summary

St Johns CofE Academy in Wantage seeks a Secondary Phase SEND & Inclusion Lead to drive day-to-day SEND delivery and inclusion across the secondary phase. You will work closely with the Primary Phase Lead and Leadership Team to develop provision, support staff, and ensure pupils access an ambitious curriculum.

You will oversee key SEND processes, coordinate with families and external professionals, and play a central role in transition from Year 6 to Year 7 as the school grows.

Qualifications

• Lead, coordinate and evaluate targeted and specialist SEND provision.
• Oversee SEND processes, including graduated response, EHCP provision and reviews.
• Develop support staff and help colleagues identify needs and make reasonable adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day leadership of SEND and inclusion across the Secondary Phase.
• Work with pupils, families and external professionals to support provision and transition.
• Collaborate with the Primary Phase Lead and Leadership Team to shape provision as the school grows.
