Job summary

English Path is seeking a Student Experience Officer in London to guide students through the journey from pre-arrival to departure, ensuring a high-quality experience across welfare, accommodation and activities.

The role focuses on accommodation coordination, host family onboarding, and ensuring safe, welcoming homestays in line with English Path standards and British Council expectations. On-site role, with peak period coverage.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or student services.
• Experience in international/multicultural environment desirable.
• Experience with accommodation or host family coordination desirable.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, approachable and student-focused.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database/CRM systems.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices desirable.
• Safeguarding commitment and background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the overall student experience from pre-arrival to departure.
• Act as a key contact for student welfare, accommodation and general enquiries.
• Coordinate student arrivals, inductions, departures and airport transfers.
• Manage accommodation bookings and relationships with host families and providers.
• Resolve welfare, safeguarding and accommodation concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems.
• Monitor attendance and student feedback to improve satisfaction.
• Assist with safeguarding, safety procedures and compliance.
• Provide front-line support via email, phone and in person during peak periods.
• Support social activities and wider operational administration.
