Job summary

Unite Group is seeking a Student Experience Team Member for Unite Students at Horizon Heights. You will greet students at reception, resolve issues, and help create a welcoming, safe community. The role supports bookings and coordinates events to enhance student life on campus.

Working 15 hours across two days, you’ll collaborate with the Student Experience Team Leader and facilities staff to deliver high-quality student experiences and responsive service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, ideally with a background in hospitality or retail.
• Warm, caring, and approachable, with strong communication with students.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks.
• Experience in a customer service or residential environment is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly front of house reception and build rapport with students.
• Respond quickly to student feedback and direct them to the right support.
• Support sales through house viewings, answering inquiries, and attending events.
• Assist in delivering community-building events with Resident Ambassadors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for residents.
• Collaborate with day and night teams to ensure seamless service and handovers.
• Support wellbeing or welfare matters and act promptly to help when needed.
