Job summary

University of Surrey is seeking an experienced Student Engagement Lead to drive the institution's student engagement and attendance strategy. You will oversee analytics, reporting and continuous improvement, working with the Data and Systems Lead to translate insights into practical actions for Student Success Coordinators and academic colleagues.

The role focuses on evidence-based engagement practices across the university and requires collaboration with Strategy Planning and compliance teams

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engagement analytics and turning data into actionable insight.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations for varied audiences.
• Proven ability to influence colleagues and support improvements across a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the University's student engagement and attendance activity with evidence-based analysis.
• Develop and maintain the engagement platform with Data and Systems Lead.
• Produce regular reports evaluating the impact of engagement interventions.
• Advise academic schools and professional services on evidence-based approaches.
